Tramps - good for Tenerife
By Joe | July 22, 2007
Called in briefly at Tramps yesterday afternoon (Saturday). What a good do! Radio One were broadcasting live, featuring some of their top name DJs (apparently). I’m afraid I’ve been out of the scene since Pampers have replaced partying, but even for an old duffer like myself, the atmosphere…ahem, vibe… was fantastic.
This kind of event can’t fail to help Tenerife’s visitor numbers. All-day broadcasts worldwide, on a hot sunny day, to a huge and enthusiastic crowd.
Well done, Tramps, for organising this high-profile event. Would be interested to hear from others who went and what they thought.

Me & my bro went to the Roadshow on Saturday, a regular haunt for us both anyway since we moved to the island in May 2006! It was great to see the place buzzing and hope that events like this will be more commonplace in the future. I know that the area has suffered in the past from bad press etc., but we hope that many of Saturday´s listeners outside of Tenerife will realise that this is a great place to live & visit, enjoy & party!

Damn right, Andy. Hopefully it will help towards putting Tenerife back on the party map again.
